KiTZ / Anna Illenberger (*1984 in Stuttgart), die Sängerin, Sound und Performance Künstlerin sammelte ihre ersten Erfahrungen als Autodidaktin in ihrem Atelier in den Wagenhallen Stuttgart. Dort gründete sie ihre erste Band ANNAGEMINA. Sie hat zahlreiche Bühnenauftritte und veröffentlichte in den letzten Jahren mehr als 10 Tonträger. Für ihre konzeptionellen Theatermusikproduktionen und Filmmusiken hat sie schon mehrere Auszeichnungen und Nominierung erhalten (u. a. Beste Filmmusik „die Tochter“; Toronto Canada). 2020 veröffentlichte sie unter dem Namen KiTZ ihr erstes Solo-Album. Die Grundlage ihrer Kompositionen ist immer die Improvisation, die dann ausgearbeitet wird. Sie arbeitet intensiv an elektronischer Klangforschung und experimentiert im Bereich verschiedener Improvisationstechniken mit digitalen und analogen Instrumenten, Effektgeräten und der Stimme. Die Verschmelzung von experimenteller Popmusik, Performance und Bildender Kunst ist ihr Antrieb. Das Verfremden von Fotografien bildet eine wichtige Ergänzung zu ihrer Musik. Das bewusste Abtrennen und Fragmentieren spiegelt das Verfahren des Samplens in ihrer Musik wider. Ihr Projekt „Lostsongs“ wurde Ende 2021, online veröffentlicht. Hier vermischt sie ihre Kunst und Musik in einer eigenen virtuellen Galerie.

Jetzt 2024 hat sie ihr neues Album “Blase” veröffentlicht, das zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich ist. Auch dieses Album ist ein Konzeptalbum was sich in einer Art “Blase” aufhält. “Blase” ist in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten Ralv Milberg entstanden und wurde in einer 180 Grad Installation aus Verstärkern und Lautsprechern fast komplett live eingespielt und erhält so eine ganz eigene "elektronische, analoge" Dichte. Nicht nur ist es komplett auf Deutsch gesungen, sondern auch die Bildsprache der Clips und Videos und auch die Grafik der Vinyl verhält sich alles im selben Kosmos.

KiTZ / Anna Illenberger (*1984 in Stuttgart), the singer, sound and performance artist gained her first experiences as a self-taught artist in her studio in the Wagenhallen Stuttgart. There she founded her first band ANNAGEMINA. She has made numerous stage appearances and has released more than 10 recordings in recent years. She has received several awards and nominations for her conceptual theater music productions and film scores (including Best Film Music "The Daughter"; Toronto Canada). In 2020 she released her first solo album under the name KiTZ. The basis of her compositions is always improvisation, which is then elaborated. She works intensively on electronic sound research and experiments in the field of various improvisation techniques with digital and analog instruments, effect devices and the voice. She is driven by the fusion of experimental pop music, performance and visual art. The alienation of photographs is an important addition to her music. The deliberate separation and fragmentation reflects the sampling process in her music. Her project "Lostsongs" was published online at the end of 2021. Here she mixes her art and music in her own virtual gallery.

Now, in 2024, she has released her new album "Blase", which is available on vinyl for the first time. This album is also a concept album that takes place in a kind of "bubble". "Blase" was created in close collaboration with producer Ralv Milberg and was recorded almost entirely live in a 180 degree installation of amplifiers and loudspeakers, giving it its very own "electronic, analog" density. Not only is it sung entirely in German, but the visual language of the clips and videos and the graphics of the vinyl are all in the same cosmos.
