Insomnia Taxxi
Insomnia Taxxi (Iryna Novikova) (geb. 1984) - Internationale Klangkünstlerin, Komponistin, Musikproduzentin für elektronische Musik und Sounddesign aus der Ukraine, lebt und arbeitet in Schweden. Die Musikerin arbeitet in den Bereichen Film, Theater, Sounddesign für digitale Kunst und versteht sich als Schöpferin konzeptioneller elektronischer Musikkompositionen.
"Meine Klangwelt ist geprägt von dunklen Melodien, experimenteller Musik mit kompositorischer Form, Gesang und Synthesizern. Oft verwende ich bei meinen Konzerten einzigartiges Videomaterial und kollaboriere mit Videokünstlern und Live-VJs, und erforsche metaphysische, mythologische, kontemplative, soziale oder politische Subtexte.
"Blutiger Stern" (2022)
Bloody Star ist eine Komposition, die in der Kunstgalerie Rikstolvan zur Eröffnung der Sommerausstellung ukrainischer zeitgenössischer Künstler. Sie zeigt Werke,die als Reaktion auf die umfassende Invasion in der Ukraine entstanden sind. Die Form des Stücks basiert auf zwei Gegensätzen - dem Mechanischen, Seelenlosen und Totalitären und einer ukrainischen Volksmelodie, die den Triumph des Lebens symbolisiert.

Insomnia Taxxi (Iryna Novikova) (born 1984) - International sound artist, composer, music producer for electronic music and sound design from Ukraine, lives and works in Sweden. The musician works in the fields of film, theater, sound design for digital art and sees herself as a creator of conceptual electronic music compositions.
"My sound world is characterized by dark melodies, experimental music with compositional form, vocals and synthesizers. I often use unique video footage at my concerts and collaborate with video artists and live VJs, and explore metaphysical, mythological, contemplative, social or political subtexts.
"Bloody Star" (2022)
Bloody Star is a composition presented at the Rikstolvan Art Gallery for the opening of the summer exhibition of Ukrainian contemporary artists. It shows works that were created in response to the extensive invasion of Ukraine. The form of the piece is based on two opposites - the mechanical, soulless and totalitarian and a Ukrainian folk melody that symbolizes the triumph of life.
