The cellist, electro-cellist, sound-artist
and composer worked in all areas of classical and contemporary
music. Tours brought him to people´s republic of China,
Russia, USA, Brazil, and to all important centers of music all
over Europe.
Between 1990 and 1993 he has been cellist of the well known
ensemble modern in Frankfurt, where he had the possibility to
work with artists, such as K.-H. Stockhausen, Ornette Coleman
and Frank Zappa, to mention only a few. At the same time he
developed his own music-projects in the fields of improvisation,
electronic, jazz, sound, as well as projects combining different
forms of art as sound and language or music and visuals.
Since the summer of ´99 he teaches audio design at the
University for applied sciences of art in Schwäbisch Hall.
Since 2004 he owns a professorship for sound arts.
