Born in 1963, Jeanette Zippel studied
painting at the Munich Art Academy from 1984 to 1990. Beside
she trained as a classical singer and experimental singing.
Since 1987 Jeanette Zippel works with and about bees. In this
work she uses music and video productions to combine them with
room installations.
Since march 2001 Jeanette Zippel is Professor at the Universtity
of Applied Siences and Design, Schwäbisch Hall. There she
works at multimedia projects with students combining installations
and sounds.
Jeanette Zippel got grants of DAAD and Cité Internationale
des Arts Paris to work at international projects.
In 1987 she started to work with an artist group called Singende
Würmer with her husband Günther Reger. She took
part at exhibitions like Art groups joint works of art
K 18 Kassel, parallel to the documenta 8.
In her artwork Jeanette Zippel is constructing beegardens with
so called living sculptures. These gardens are existing
international, for example on the Canarian Islands, at South
Tyrol, Munich and Stuttgart.
Her artwork is represented at the Gallery Harthan, Stuttgart.
The next exhibition of multimedia installations is at the Stadthaus
Ulm 2006.
