Since her studies at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart percussionist Anja Füsti works mainly in the sphere of New Music, Music Theatre and Free Music, so therefore mostly at interdisciplinary interfaces.
This has been leading to co-operations with composers such as Earle Brown, Adriana Hölszky and Dieter Schnebel. In addition to her education by Prof. Klaus Treßelt, she attended numerous masterclasses, e.g. the class of Georges Aperghis.
Since 2004 she co-curates the series Plattform für Freie Musik at an art galery for contemporary medial art called fluctuating images, which is located in Stuttgart.
Anja Füsti also collaborated with her sister Sonja Füsti in the realisation of Music Theatre pieces.
