Study of art history and science of religion at the Universities of Stuttgart, Florence and Tübingen, accompanied by training in visual arts (Freie Kunstschule Stuttgart, Zeicheninstitut/University of Tübingen, glass painting studio G&F, Stuttgart) and work on cultural projects of the SDR-TV (South German Broadcasting).
1989-95 curator of art exhibitions and cultural events at the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart and managing director of the cultural centre "Sudhaus" in Tübingen.
1995-2000 journalist in the field of arts and architecture (review „glasforum“) and project partner of Friedrich Förster.
